Fundación Bolivia Digna - La Salle Bolivia Digna is an NGO based in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Our objective is to promote and defend the rights of children living in exclusion and poverty.

We are a small, locally-run, registered charity based in Cochabamba, Bolivia that supports children and young adults living in some of the poorest communities in one of the poorest countries in Latin America. We believe that the best way to support these communities and alleviate poverty is to invest in the formal and informal education of the young people in partnership with their community. To augment the existing system, we provide integrated educational assistance to pre-school children and children of school age, and run other projects that benefit their families, their community and the environment in which they live. We run various projects including pre-school education; an English school; a sports school; help with homework; health and nutrition education; creative projects such as music, theatre, dance; science projects; and community improvement projects. We are a very lean and efficient organization with a core team of professional educators and psychologists augmented by a larger team of local and international volunteers, but to run the projects and extend our reach we always need two things – more money and more volunteers. Our story.

We are a small locally-run registered charity ONG based in Cochabamba, Bolivia that supports children and young adults living in some of the poorest communities of the city. We believe that the best way to support these communities and alleviate poverty is to invest in the formal and informal education of young people.

To augment the existing system, we provide integrated educational assistance to pre-school children and children of school age, and run other projects that benefit their families, their community and the environment in which they live. We run various projects including pre-school education, English classes, sport, homework assistance, health and nutrition education, creative projects (art,music, theatre, dance), science programs and community improvement projects. We are a very lean and efficient organization with a core team of professional educators augmented by a larger team of local and international volunteers. Volunteers and interns are essential for us and for the other organizations we work with. Volunteers can bring new ideas, new experiences and a culture that adds value to children, according totheir skills and interests.
