WAO President Update: Celebrating Success & Looking Ahead

Dear Colleagues,

As another year draws to a close, I would like to take this moment to sincerely thank you for being a part of our global community of allergists and clinical immunologists. You support us by attending our meetings, participating in our events and programs, and being an active member of your national and/or regional allergy and clinical immunology society. Because of you, we are able to organize multiple World Allergy Training Schools (WATS) around the world each year, collaborate with our member societies on major scientific meetings, build our network of Centers of Excellence, and more! We look forward to continue bringing you high quality scientific education, collaboration and networking in the years to come.

Reflecting on our activities this year, there is much to celebrate!

This year, we had a successful World Allergy Congress (WAC) at the 2025 AAAAI/WAO Joint Congress in San Diego, CA, United States. Thousands of delegates from the United States and around the world met in southern California this February/March to advance their knowledge of allergic diseases and hot topics in the allergy/clinical immunology field. It was also a wonderful opportunity to bring together past and present WAO leaders.
