🎯This study showed that posterior composite restorations performed well with universal adhesive system, regardless of the adhesive strategy used. These results highlight the strong and reliable performance of universal adhesives in real clinical settings and provide valuable guidance for clinicians performing direct posterior restorations.

💡In patients treated with OS, skeletal advancement resulted in greater increases in mandibular and corpus lengths, along with forward positioning of the pogonion. Based on 3D soft tissue and cephalometric comparisons, the Herbst appliance seems to be a viable non-surgical alternative for young adults with moderate Class II malocclusion. Both treatment modalities also contributed to significant improvements in sagittal oropharyngeal airway length.

🎯Diabetes often compromises bone healing, making implants more likely to fail.
In this study, the authors found that a local injection of a molecule called 3S-HMGB1 improved bone growth and implant stability in diabetic mice.
The treatment restored bone-to-implant contact to near-healthy levels and enhanced tissue organization.
These results highlight 3S-HMGB1 as a promising strategy to counter early implant failure in diabetes.
Future work will explore ways to optimize delivery strategies and extend its benefits over the long term.

🎯Calcium carbonate has gained considerable prominence in recent years as a biomaterial within Dentistry, notably in the fields of Operative Dentistry and Cariology. A key factor contributing to its growing interest is the possibility of its acquisition from natural sources. This research reveals its notable versatility and a promising outlook, stimulating further investigations, particularly regarding its clinical applications and the evaluation of its long-term outcomes.

🎯PPARα modulation of macrophage polarization and inflammatory signaling in mimic periodontitis

These findings suggest that PPARα activation modulates macrophage polarization and suppresses inflammatory signaling in response to periodontal bacterial antigens.

🎯Periodontitis turns off your gums' defense genes while cranking up the wrong repair signals. Your immune system gets suppressed, not overactive. This study reveals key dysregulated pathways in severe periodontitis, showing how immune, epithelial, and metabolic networks are altered. These findings help clarify disease mechanisms and may support future therapeutic strategies.
