Viajar, aprender e ensinar ao lado do Dr. Davi Machado é sempre transformador. Em Lima, ficou ainda mais claro por que ele é uma das grandes referências da cirurgia facial: humildade para aprender, generosidade para ensinar e uma paixão que não envelhece.

A vida tem sido muito generosa comigo. Hoje tenho a honra de receber pacientes de todo o Brasil e muitas de outros países que escolhem vir a Belo Horizonte para serem cuidadas pela nossa equipe.

É sempre desafiador receber pessoas de outras culturas, muitas que não falam português e nunca estiveram no Brasil antes. Mas o que tenho percebido é que todas são pessoas. E todas as pessoas gostam de atenção, ser bem cuidadas e receber um tratamento excelente. Por isso, tenho aprendido que para cuidado de excelência não existe barreira, idioma ou cultora.

Tenho muito claro para mim que isso é uma dádiva, uma grande honra, um presente de Deus. E sou muito feliz e grato por toda essa confiança.

Life has been very generous to me. Today, I have the honor of welcoming patients from all over Brazil — and many from other countries — who choose to come to Belo Horizonte to be cared for by our team.

It’s always a challenge to receive people from different cultures, many who don’t speak Portuguese and have never been to Brazil before. But what I’ve realized is that, in the end, everyone is just a person. And all people appreciate attention, being well cared for, and receiving excellent treatment. That’s why I’ve learned that when it comes to true excellence in care, there are no barriers — no language, no culture.

I’m deeply aware that this is a gift, a great honor, a blessing from God. I’m truly happy and grateful for all the trust placed in us.

Today was a very special day. We welcomed Sabrina, who came all the way from New York to Brazil to undergo her facelift with our team.
She shared that after researching and having a consultation, she felt safe, comfortable, and confident enough to make this choice.

It’s not just about surgery, it’s about entrusting your story, your identity, and your future into our hands.
It’s about being welcomed, understood, and certain that you are in the right hands.

Nos últimos 10 anos, viajei o mundo buscando excelência na Cirurgia Facial — especialmente no Deep Plane Facelift. Cursos, congressos e muitas jornadas com os melhores cirurgiões do mundo. E sigo nessa missão.

Há 5 anos assumi uma nova responsabilidade: formar um cirurgião por ano. Ensinar técnica, mentalidade, carreira, gestão e espiritualidade.

Este ano, tenho a honra de treinar o Dr. Cristiam Hidalgo .cristiamhidalgo — que será o primeiro Cirurgião Plástico Facial do Equador especializado em Deep Plane.

Cristiam já conquistou a todos com seu carisma. Pacientes, equipe, amigos e grandes nomes da cirurgia mundial já fazem parte da sua trajetória. E isso é mérito dele.

Enquanto ensino, sigo aprendendo. Conectando cirurgiões do mundo todo que querem crescer, compartilhar e entregar o melhor com elegância e naturalidade.

For the past 10 years, I’ve traveled the world pursuing excellence in Facial Surgery — especially Deep Plane Facelifting. Courses, congresses, and countless journeys with the best surgeons in the world. And I’m still at it.

In recent years, I embraced a new role: mentoring one surgeon per year — teaching not just technique, but also mindset, career strategy, business, and spirituality.

This year, I have the honor of training Dr. Cristiam Hidalgo .cristiamhidalgo — who’s on track to become Ecuador’s first Deep Plane Facial Plastic Surgeon.

Cristiam has already won everyone over with his charisma. Patients, staff, friends, and world-class surgeons are now part of his journey. And he’s earned every bit of it.

As I teach, I keep learning. Connecting surgeons around the world who want to grow, share, and offer the best — always with elegance and natural beauty.

O segundo dia do 4º Congresso Nacional da Baps foi um sucesso.

Tivemos uma manhã dedicada às aulas de Facelift Deep Plane e à tarde duas cirurgias de Facelift Endoscópico em Deep Plane com os incríveis Dr Zekeriya Kul de Istambul na Turquia e Dr Renet Gad de Bucareste na Romênia compartilhando cada detalhe de suas cirurgias.

Oportunidade maravilhosa para os cirurgiões aprenderem detalhes preciosos e continuarem evoluindo.

The second day of the 4th BAPS National Congress was a great success.

We started the morning with in-depth lectures on Deep Plane Facelift techniques, followed by two live surgeries in the afternoon—both Deep Plane Endoscopic Facelifts—performed by the incredible Dr. Zekeriya Kul from Istanbul, Turkey, and Dr. Renet Gad from Bucharest, Romania, who generously shared every detail of their procedures.

It was a remarkable opportunity for surgeons to absorb valuable insights and keep evolving in their craft.

The first day of the 4th BAPS Congress is already a success.

A full day dedicated to Endoscopic Facelift and Deep Plane Facelift lectures, featuring the best surgeons from Brazil and two international guests.

Tomorrow we’ll have more lectures, two live surgery demonstrations, and on Saturday, an anatomy lab session.

I’m truly happy and grateful for the growth of BAPS and for the opportunity to connect surgeons from all over the world—everyone sharing knowledge and growing together!

Hoje tive a oportunidade de compartilhar um pouco da nossa experiência e também acompanhar cirurgias demonstrativas de colegas que admiro muito. Amanhã será o nosso dia de mostrar um pouco do que temos desenvolvido no Brasil, especialmente nas técnicas de facelifting.

Cada congresso é uma nova chance de evoluir, de aprender algo novo e de levar o melhor para cada paciente que confia no nosso trabalho.

Primeiro dia do Latinoamerican International Master Academy aqui em Lima, Peru. Foi um grande sucesso.

Hoje foi um dia todo dedicado ao estudo da anatomia na Universidad Cientifica del Sur onde os alunos puderam treinar todas as técnicas de Deep Plane Facelift.

Também foi uma oportunidade de compartilhar conhecimento com cirurgiões de todo o mundo, rever amigos e continuar aprendendo coisas novas.

Estou muito feliz e grato com à oportunidade da Mila e estamos apenas começando.

First Day of the Latin American International Master Academy here in Lima, Peru – a great success.

Today was entirely dedicated to anatomy study at Universidad Científica del Sur, where participants had the chance to practice all the Deep Plane Facelift techniques.

It was also a great opportunity to share knowledge with surgeons from all over the world, reconnect with friends, and keep learning new things.

I’m truly happy and grateful for this opportunity made possible by LIMA — and we’re just getting started.

Os 43 anos chegaram. E acredito que o Leandro de 20 ficaria orgulhoso de nossa caminhada até aqui. Entre erros e acertos, seguimos melhorando.

A busca pela minha melhor versão continua sendo um propósito. Mas estou feliz em não ser mais a pessoa que já fui no passado. A maturidade tem trazido mais calma. As conquistas diárias na vida pessoal e profissional tem trazido paz.

Dividir a vida com a tem sido uma grande aventura. Ainda faltam algumas coisas para experienciar. Em especial a aventura de ser pai e ter a responsabilidade de criar pessoas íntegras que façam a diferença no mundo. Penso que tudo tem sua hora certa e quem define é Deus.

Sigo desfrutando a vida, aprendendo coisas novas, compartilhando o que sei e conectando pessoas. Mas a vida tem sido generosa comigo. E estou muito feliz e grato com os caminhos que a vida tem me levado.

O que eu diria para o Leandro de 20? Tenha fé, continue sonhando alto, trabalhe muito e seja gentil com as pessoas! Vai dar certo! ❤️🙏🏻😊

I’ve just turned 43. And I believe the 20-year-old Leandro would be proud of the journey we’ve taken so far.

Between mistakes and victories, we keep evolving. The pursuit of my best self remains a lifelong purpose. But I’m happy not to be the same person I once was. Maturity has brought more calm. Daily accomplishments — both personal and professional — have brought me peace.

Sharing life with has been an incredible adventure. There are still a few things I want to experience — especially the adventure of becoming a father and embracing the responsibility of raising honest, kind people who make a difference in the world. I believe everything happens at the right time, and God is the one who sets that timing.

For now, I continue to enjoy life, learn new things, share what I know, and connect with inspiring people. Life has been generous with me, and I’m truly happy and grateful for the path it has led me down.

What would I tell 20-year-old Leandro?
Have faith, keep dreaming big, work hard, and always be kind to others.
It’s all going to work out. ❤️🙏🏻😊
