IHPBA is currently the fastest growing surgical society, and represents an important and ever more present tool for the production and dispersal of knowledge accumulated and updated in the area. In order to effectively inform and exchange information, as well as promote closer cooperation between colleagues, every two years the IHPBA holds International Conferences, which rotate between three continents. The last round was held in Seoul, South Korea to great success. In 2016, the IHPBA Conference comes to Brazil, to the city of São Paulo, Latin America’s largest city with approximately 20 million residents in its greater metropolitan area and with the ability to receive all guests who come to the XX World Conference of IHPBA with open arms.
