made a commitment to simplify my life in 2025 and part of that is cutting down on the number of social media pages I manage.

In 2019, I started this page to introduce myself as a pediatrician, new to the private sector in The Bahamas. Since then I've been fortunate to build a following of people who have sought me out for advice on the care of their little ones.

What I've learned from the parents in my practice over the years tho, is that they appreciate knowing that even though I am a pediatrician and a business woman running a practice, I am also a mom who dropped all her kids off the bed at some point, takes them to school late everyday, and forgets to give them their medicine. I'm also a woman in her 40's trying to stay fit, fashionable, and maintain relationships, while pursuing peace and purpose.

In a few weeks, I'll be shutting down this page, but if your interested in staying connected, you can follow me for a little bit of Medicine and a whole lot of life. You can also follow for all things Pediatrics.

My oldest was going into 4th grade when our family met Ms. . She took such good care of my girls that I dropped one more baby in her lap! Now the oldest is in her 2nd year of university and the "baby" is almost as tall as she is. One thing that never changes tho, is the love they have for each other. The heart of an educator always has room for her babies! ❤️

This kid got her driver's license today and I don't know how to feel about it. We were just celebrating the tooth fairy coming to the house for the first time and now she is a driver. The time is short. Love them, pray for them, and let them fly...well...drive 🤦🏽‍♀️. Y'all pray for me. One down, two more to go!

Period poverty is a global health issue affecting millions of women and girls around the world in both rich and poor countries. One of the keys to tackling this issue is making everyone more comfortable discussing periods so that it is easier for women and girls to come forward with concerns and ask for support when needed.

I am honored to have been asked by once again to be a speaker at their annual My Period My Pride event where I get to to educate adolescent girls and their families on puberty and periods.

My 18th Mother's Day is in the books! This year looked a little different since It's my first without my oldest one at home with me, but she was the first to wish me a happy Mother's Day today. Grateful that God chose me to raise this awesome crew. 💜💕💙
