The Ministry of Social Services Information & Broadcasting Department of Gender and Family Affairs division is collaborating with The National Women’s Advisory Council a symposium on empowering women and girls through the nation. The event is a two day event starting with a church service on Friday 27th at 11AM followed by the symposium on Saturday 28th from 8AM to 4:30pm all happening at Bahamas Harvest on JFK Drive. Last week a few members of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities gave two presentations at St Augustine College on Disability Awareness and Advocacy. We are extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity to educate some of the students on Disability. This is another step in the right direction as we continue to spread awareness throughout the education system both Public and Private. Thank you for having us. ♿️🤟🏾
