Some of y’all are in relationships with people that totally dislike you, but because your identity is based in doing for others more than it should be, it’s hard to make decisions that reflect self love.

Self love in this instance isn’t a feeling, it’s an observation that ought to trigger an action regardless of feelings and understanding.

This is because some violations are so damaging and so trauma inducing, you simply cannot take the risk by not reinforcing a boundary immediately and without prejudice.

This is why knowing yourself and seeking out wholeness is so powerful, because without it, your gauge for what you should and shouldn’t be dealing with in people becomes warped.

It’s not a relationship if simple conversations about your feelings and experiences always lead to arguments. That’s the National Centre For The Performing Arts.

Accountability always feels like targeting to people that don’t prioritize comprehensive growth (mind, body, soul, relationships)

Knowing you’re loved is good. But feeling that you’re loved is even better. When’s the last time you made them feel it?

Validation is so powerful because you can’t tell people how to feel. You either see their experience as real for them or dismiss it and lose intimacy.

May we learn to stop protecting the bad habits that are quietly destroying our relationships from the inside out.

Sometimes it’s the history of what they used to be that holds us back from accepting the reality of who they’ve become.

We also have to hold women accountable to the fact that feelings are rarely facts.

We have a generation of wives that have been raised on the idea that husbands are only tools of relief, which has made many wives act irresponsibly towards their husbands without any regulation or remorse.

Women must also resist the urge to seek counsel from other damaged women who have yet to understand that happiness is a choice.

This low EQ, narcissistic energy only seeks to damage people instead of seeing the relationship between our needs.

In many homes, a marriage will stop when the woman is emotionally unhappy, but a man has to deal with disrespect or fear being called weak and unable to handle a powerful woman when he says enough is enough…🫩

There’s always 3 sides.

Nothing—and I mean NOTHING—can compete with novelty.

Secondly, nothing can compete with side doggy when that’s all he’s mainly being used for (especially if it’s attached to cash, validation and attention).

With that being said, the study supports something I always preach, and it’s that intimacy has layers for women that require mind, body and heart—something infidelity can synthetically produce.

In fact, a woman would leave a new york strip at home for a shrimp tempura outside because that roll has the spicy mayo (attention) she desires 🍤

The average Bahamian man only conceptualizes love through provision and physical security, but in my office the number 1 complaint for cheating women is emotional starvation from their men.

What’s interesting though is that men are expert dream sellers in the beginning—mixing words with expertly timed attention and presence.
Most women never outgrow needing to believe in that passion, though most men tire in giving it repeatedly.

At the end of the day though, cheating is a conscious choice and it’s never justified, though understandable.
In therapy we explore motivations and 8 times out of 10 it’s a communication and understanding issue.
