📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dorokha Hospital would like to inform the general public that Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening will be conducted under the Dorokha Hospital catchment area from 25th February to 15th March.

The screening will focus on population age between 18-64 years old which includes:
🩺 Diabetes
🩺 Hypertension(blood pressure)
🩺 any other related Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

We kindly request all community members to avail this important health service and not miss the opportunity when healthcare providers visit your area. Early detection and timely management can prevent serious complications.

📌 Any changes in the schedule will be informed through the respective Tshogpas and VHWs accordingly.

Let us all participate and work together towards a healthier community.

Here’s a simple 4-step GST example showing how GST at 5% works through the supply chain — from importer → wholesaler → retailer → consumer — assuming profit margins of 5%, 7%, and 8% at each stage respectively.
Each business pays GST only on the value they add(after profit), not on the whole price the previous business already paid. They recover the GST they paid earlier as an input tax credit (ITC) and only send the difference to the government. The final consumer bears the full GST cost.

• Base cost of goods at import: Nu. 100 (value before any profit or tax)
• GST rate: 5%
• Profit margins:
• Importer: 5%
• Wholesaler: 7%
• Retailer: 8%

1. Importer buys goods at Nu.100.
2. Add 5% profit:
Profit = 5% × 100 = Nu. 5
→ Selling price before GST = Nu. 105
3. GST at 5% on 105 = Nu. 5.25
4. Importer charges Nu. 5.25 to wholesaler and can claim back GST he paid on inputs (if any).
→ Price wholesaler pays = 105 + 5.25 = 110.25

1. Wholesaler receives the goods at Nu. 110.25 (GST included).
• The GST Nu. 5.25 acts as input tax credit.
2. Add 7% profit on 105 (base cost before GST):
Profit = 7% × 105 = 7.35
→ Selling price before GST = 112.35
3. GST at 5% on 112.35 = 5.62
4. Wholesaler charges GST to retailer:
→ Price retailer pays = 112.35 + 5.62 = 117.97

1. Retailer receives the goods at 117.97 (GST included).
• The GST 5.62 is creditable as input tax credit to the retailer.
2. add 8% profit on 112.35 (base cost before GST):
Profit = 8% × 112.35 = 8.99
→ Selling price before GST = 121.34
3. GST at 5% on 121.34 = 6.07
4. Retailer charges GST to consumer:
→ Final price consumer pays = 121.34 + 6.07 = 127.41

• The consumer cannot claim any input tax credit — so they actually pay the full GST charged at this last stage.

Final Result
• Total GST paid by the final consumer: 6.07
• Total GST received by the government: 6.07
• Collected in Stages/parts from:
o Importer: 5.25
o Wholesaler: 0.37
o Retailer: 0.45
This shows the core idea of GST:
Tax is collected only on value addition at each stage, but the full tax burden rests with the final consumer.
