Gangthok Primary Health Centre (PHC) is located under Namgaycholing Gewog, Samtse Dzongkhag and it covers 9 major villages i.e Sa-Tsangsa, Gyalposhing, Chhodarling, Chhunagang, Gangthok, Tsholingkhar, Sernyagang, Tshosarling and Tshachhugang villages under the Gewog. It has 3 Out Reach Clinics (ORC) at Sa-Tsangsa, Tshachhugang, and Chhodarling village. The PHC is supported by 5 Village Health Workers (VHWs) from Tshachhugang, Chhodarling, Sernyagang, Sa-Tsangsa and Gyalposhing village. There are total of 460 households under the PHC and total population of 1599 with 825 males and 774 females and some of the vulnerable population under the PHC includes elderly population of 189 and 125 children under 5 years as per Annual Health Survey, 2023. The PHC is connected with only feeder (farm) road about 15 km from Gewog Centre. PHC catchment area has four ECCD with one primary school. Currently, PHC is not connected with broadband internet facilities.
