SAD NEWS: Three people were found lifeless early this morning after an Alto car plunged nearly 250 meters off the road at Yangnyer Gewog in Trashigang. Police launched a search after they were reported missing on Sunday evening. The accident is believed to have occurred Sunday night along the Yangnyer–Gongthung road while they were returning to Trashigang after dropping off friends. Medical reports confirmed severe head injuries as the cause. Police said alcohol, along with fog, rain and poor visibility, may have contributed. The bodies were later handed over to their families.

This is such a Heartbreaking Tragedy: A desperate fight to save a life ended in unimaginable loss❗️

Sanjay Kumar Sahu, a small-town hotel owner from Chandwa, Jharkhand, India, had suffered around 65% burns in a short-circuit fire at his restaurant. Hoping to save him, family and friends arranged an ₹8 lakh loan to charter an air ambulance from Ranchi to Delhi for advanced treatment.

On board were Sanjay, his wife Archana, a doctor, a medical assistant, and the flight crew. Minutes after takeoff, the aircraft crashed in the dense forests of Chatra district. All seven on board lost their lives.

What was meant to be a journey of hope turned into a devastating loss for seven families. Investigation by aviation authorities is underway.
