Elias Kavuru says Some years back I decided to buy a reasonably priced DVD player for my children. I saw one displayed in the window of a chinese Shop. It was a SONY at a very good price. I made my way into the shop and told the Chinese guy that I wanted the DVD player displayed in his Window. He then brought a player from his storeroom. I inspected and and found it was labelled in Chinese. Told him I wanted the SONY since it's a more reliable brand. He calmly peeled of the Chinese brand label, took a SONY brand label and brazenly stuck it on with super glue. I was flabbergasted to put it mildly. It dawned upon me that the player was NOT a SONY. I couldn't back out of the deal. So I bought the player. Predictably it lasted about a week.😂🤣

Kenya Airways has begun restoring normal flight schedules following days of disruptions caused by an industrial strike that affected operations at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a statement, the national carrier said it is in the process of normalising its scheduled and on-time operations and expects full recovery within the next 24 hours.

The airline assured passengers that teams are working around the clock to minimise delays and clear the backlog created during the disruption period.

Meet Dr. Paul Sidandi, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown, Botswana
Dr. Paul is a Kenya born, UK trained Psychiatrist who is also the co Founder of Botswana Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (BAPR) with the Late Matron Lily Qobo. He is known for the discovery of the The African Lakeside Script Botswana with Flight Engineer Kefa Ombewa. Together with his son Andrew Sidandi, a London based Finance and Assets Manager have so generously donated all the land where Captains choice academy Kenya (CCAK) has been built and continues to get developed on. They have not only already donated the 5 acres of land where the CCAK Primary section is currently going on but when they recently heard that the CCAK has been tentatively approved by the Government of Kenya to offer secondary education as well, they have again gone ahead and donated another 5 acres towards the CCAK secondary section to ensure that there's enough land for a full school development now totalling 10 acres! Part of the land is used for Education with Production. Aussie Kenya Community Organization (AKCO) and all the CCAK Stakeholders, Community members, parents and the donor community whish to extend a big word of gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Paul and Andrew for such selfless and most generous contribution towards education in the Kanyimach Community, Rongo Sub County in Migori County of Kenya and it's environs. May you guys be so much blessed in all your endeavours!

Dr Paul now does outreach work as one of five Psychiatrists in an area half the size of Kenya or France.
