The Great Debate: The Patriarchy & GBV Edition 2025 will bring two fearless youth debaters to the stage,ready to challenge power, question culture, and demand accountability from the generations that built the system.

When a controversial radio rebel, a Kgosi, the legal fraternity, (law enforcement in all its forms), religious voices, a psychologist, and survivors and ally’s lock horns on patriarchy, justice, and gender-based violence, the youth will stand in that arena too, representing a new wave of thought that refuses to inherit silence.

💥 The Great Debate isn’t just about hearing the powerful, it’s about amplifying the next generation bold enough to disrupt them.

🚨 Foot and Mouth Disease Outbreak in Children Under 5 🚨

Parents, be on the lookout! There’s an outbreak of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) affecting young children. This viral illness spreads easily in daycare centers, schools, and at home.

🔍 Signs to Watch For:
✅ Fever
✅ Painful sores in the mouth, tongue, or throat
✅ Skin rash on hands, feet, or buttocks
✅ Loss of appetite and irritability
✅ General tiredness

💡 What You Should Do:
👉 Keep your child hydrated and ensure they get plenty of rest.
👉 Avoid contact with other children to prevent the spread.
👉 Maintain good hygiene—wash hands regularly and disinfect surfaces.
👉 Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or if your child has difficulty swallowing or becomes very weak.
