Högdalen Farm is located in Mokatse near Modipane in the Kgatleng District. The farm uses sustainable farming practices where use of chemicals in managing crops is not encouraged. This is a noble effort to help with promoting healthy lifestyle by caring for our environment in order to meet the Sustainable Development Goals in particular Goal # 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture. We are fortunate to also have high quality soils with good pH, high organic matter and mineral nutrients that are within the required optimal levels, hence no need to add anything to improve the soils. We use borehole water which is also of high quality and meets the standards for irrigating crops. Our sustainable farming practices have resulted in yielding high quality crops that have long shelf lives.
