As part of the ongoing World Tuberculosis (TB) commemoration, Orthosurge Botswana in partnership with Abbott and the Ministry of Health (TB Department) facilitated a Training of Trainers (ToT) session for healthcare professionals from various facilities.

The training focused on TB LAM, an essential diagnostic tool that supports early detection of TB particularly among high-risk and vulnerable populations. This initiative was designed to strengthen national capacity by equipping participants with the expertise to cascade knowledge and skills within their respective healthcare facilities.

Through this collaboration, we continue to support the Ministry’s efforts to enhance TB diagnosis, improve patient outcomes and accelerate progress toward TB control in Botswana.
