AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) BLS, ACLS AND HEARTSAVER FIRST AID CPR AND AED COURSES

Botswana Qualification s Authority (BQA)and Non - Credit Bearing Short Courses(NCBSC) Accredited COURSES
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health care Providers X 1day - 10 CPD Points ​
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) X 2 days – 15 CPD Points
NB: ONE MUST HAVE a valid BLS to do ACLS
Heartsaver First Aid CPR and AED Level 1: X 1day (ALL those who wish to have basic CPR and First AID skills)
Manuals 1ssued upon Payment/ can be couriered
One should have had the manual atleast 2 weeks before the course

Training Venue: Gaborone
NB: Training can be done anywhere outside Gaborone as necessary

During CPR, it is sometimes necessary to breathe for a patient. In yesteryears, this was done "mouth-to-mouth". Today a barrier mouthpiece is available to ensure the safety of the rescuer from the patient's oral fluids/sputum. The integrated one-way-valve ensures that fluids or other substances that may be present in the patient’s mouth do not enter the rescuer’s mouth during use.
