The headquarters of Leading Edge Markets (Pty) Ltd commonly known as LEMS are in Gaborone, Botswana with the aim to be in the whole of SADC. Founded in the year 2013 by Biomedical Engineers, LEMS aims to be the nation’s 1st integrated Biomedical engineering solutions through provision of top-tier Medical and Life Sciences Solutions and Exceptional After-Sales Support. In developed countries Biomedical Engineers are at the forefront of healthcare since accurate diagnosis and treatment by doctors are highly dependent on the proper functionality of the medical devices/equipment. However, in developing countries such as Botswana, this is not the case. Equipment maintenance and calibration set standards are neglected leading to poor service delivery, poor utilization of healthcare budgets and even loss of life. It is because of this dire situation that has led to the formation of LEMS. We make it our mission to create knowledge and further use this knowledge to serve each of our clients in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
