On 16 January 2026, Mosha Wellness Spa officially handed over the Khwai Village Library to the school and community in a ceremony that was both emotional and deeply meaningful. 🥳🤩

What began as a simple book and stationery drive has grown into a multipartner initiative that is already changing lives in tangible ways.

The Khwai Primary School library, valued at P50,000.00 and generously donated by First Capital Bank Botswana , was officially received by the school headmaster on behalf of the community.

The library now houses 2,835 books, creating a meaningful resource for learners. Of these, 500 books were donated by Kidz Academy from Kanye, while 1,434 books, along with chalk and dusters, were contributed by Macmillan Publishers Botswana. The remaining titles were collected through the Mosha Wellness Spa book drive, made possible by the generosity of our clients

In addition, stationery packs, backpacks, and essential school supplies were provided through the continued partnership between Mosha Wellness Spa, White, and African Bush Camps Foundation, further strengthening support for learners and their classrooms.

This past Tuesday (10 February 2026) Mosha Wellness Spa hosted an official handover ceremony with partners and media to reflect on the impact already being seen at the Khwai school and to outline the next phase of support.

Thatayaone N. Matlapeng, Country Head of Retail Banking at First Capital Bank Botswana , shared that supporting the project was an immediate decision. Believing in the power of education to change lives, FCBB donated P50,000 to convert a container into a fully functional library and has committed to continued support as the initiative grows.

Speaking on behalf of White, Maine Ernst said the focus was on dignity and access. Simple items like pens, school bags, and notebooks can transform a child’s learning experience. Lilly White also announced a partnership with to collect baby essentials and clothing for families in Khwai, recognising the importance of support from the earliest stages of life.

Koononia Baloyi of Bush Camps Foundation highlighted how small interventions create generational change. The donated library has now been split, with one side becoming a computer lab equipped by the Foundation. The current call to action is the school feeding programme, costing P15,000 per month. Since its introduction, improvements in children’s health have already been seen.

Kesego Nthomiwa of Botswana spoke about the power of reading to open young minds. After learning about the book drive, Macmillan responded with a substantial donation of books and materials. CEO of Macmillan, Mr. Kopano Sechele reaffirmed their commitment, and the partnership will now extend into a teacher training programme with Mosha Wellness Spa.

In closing, Director Lezanda Kubie shared how moving it was to see the children’s smiles and expressed her hope that future leaders, scientists, and innovators will rise from this school. She thanked partners and media for recognising that this is a real intervention in people’s lives.

As the journey continues, the 2026 focus includes sustaining the feeding programme, launching teacher training, continuing the annual book and stationery drive, and expanding support for families in Khwai.
