Thank you North West District Council for the opportunity to give a presentation on Approach to Renal Failure in Primary Care.

This was an important session as health care workers especially doctors in the district,were equipped to diagnose and refer patients early and also on proper management of patients with kidney failure.

𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 (𝐏𝐂𝐊𝐃-𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧)

On that Wednesday morning of the 1st August 2023, the team comprising a staff complement of four (4) set foot in what was then the Oncology / Renal Unit of Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital (LIIMH), to start works on what has turned out to be the PCKD-Maun we see today, turning a vision into a reality. Today marks exactly two (years) since PCKD-Maun started operations in Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital in Maun.

The management of PCKD takes pride and celebrates all those that have contributed in making PCKD-Maun a centre of excellence it has turned out to be, anticipating an even brighter future of growth and societal impact. Special recognition for our patients, who have brought us to this place and continue to challenge us to be a better version of ourselves.
