Our mission is to support the 22 health facilities in our district in educating our communities about healthy living to promote positive lifestyles wholistically.
Wholistic health takes a preventive approach to healthcare with the understanding that preventing disease is much more effective than a curative approach that treats the disease process once it has started. Wholistic healthcare treats the whole body, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, including nutrition, mental health, sexual health, including HIV and sexually transmitted infections, maternity and infant care, and general metabolic function, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight.
Our desire is to help you lead the happiest and healthiest life possible by educating you on how to best care for your health through events, newsletters, kgotla health talks, wellness events, etcetera.
