BCVI had the privilege of hosting an impactful educational session for 12 clients and their family members from Orange Walk. This gathering was more than just a meeting—it was a heartfelt space for learning, sharing, and supporting one another.

We were honored to be joined by our partners from NDACC, the People’s Diabetes Foundation, the Orange Walk Lions Clubs, MOHW Community Health Workers, the Family Support & Gender Affairs Department of the Ministry of Human Development.

Together, we focused on raising awareness, offering guidance, and strengthening the support system around our clients.

BCVIs Field Officers work along with teachers, peers and administrators to promote integration in mainstream classrooms for students who are blind. This is key to our community-based rehabilitation! 📚
