Yesterday, our Co-Founder Wilbur Dubon and Project Coordinator Sasha Brooks had the honor of participating in the Belize Fund's Learning & Knowledge Sharing Workshop in Belize City.

Wilbur also served as a panelist, openly sharing our company’s journey—the challenges we’ve faced, the lessons we’ve learned, and the successes we’ve achieved while implementing our project.

Listening to fellow grantees reminded us that real change happens when passionate people come together with purpose. We may be a young company, but we are driven by a vision to create meaningful, lasting impact. ❤

When we give, we grow.

We don’t often share the work we do within our community—partly out of humility, and partly because we’re usually busy behind the scenes making things happen. But it was a true honor for our co-founder to donate a beautiful pergola to the Independence Public Library and for our team to contribute to such a meaningful occasion. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

Seaweed (Sea Moss) Post-Harvesting Quality Control Training

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the first ever Seaweed (Sea Moss) Post-Harvesting Quality Control Training, conducted in January. Eighteen (18) dedicated participants from five communities braved cold and rainy conditions to strengthen their skills in ensuring cleaner, safer, and market-ready seaweed.

Over two intensive sessions, trainees gained hands-on experience in standardized handling, cleaning, and inspection practices—laying the foundation for a more sustainable and competitive seaweed industry in Belize. This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the Belize Fund for a Sustainable Future - Belize Fund, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all participants for their commitment and energy in advancing the future of sea moss in Belize.
