Ever wondered what St. John’s Wort really does?
Here's what I've learned about it in my herbalism journey

1. Mood support: has been shown to help relieve mild to moderate depression by adjusting the levels of serotonin and dopamine in the body.
2. Sun Sensitivity: It can make your skin and eyes more sensitive to light even in small doses so extra sun protection is suggested when using it internally.
3. Herbal interactions: can interfere with many pharmaceuticals like birth control, anti-depressants and pain meds, making them less effective.
