Our service department is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Service Technician. We need an enthusiastic individual who can troubleshoot hardware issues and then provide exceptional service to home health care products. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers and clients alike.
The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing deadlines, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is another key to success in this position.
Full time service technician available at a medical supplies store. We are looking for someone to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday thru Friday from 8:30AM-4:30PM, and a couple of Saturdays a month from 10:00AM-2:00PM. Starting wage will be dependent on experience. We are looking for someone with the following attributes/skills.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Mechanical & electrical aptitude
• Ability to use most hand & power tools
• Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
• Maintain supplies
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Order parts as needed
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• General handyman skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team settings
Who you are
• Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
• Driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to effectively manage time
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check
• Must be physically capable of going up and down the stairs several times a day
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
