Meet Peanut & Henry, most recent Townline Vet patients who learned their lesson about grape toxicity in dogs. 🐶

With the Christmas season in full swing, it’s a good reminder to be mindful of festive foods that can seriously harm our pets.🎄

Please remember this Christmas season to keep the chocolate, candies, raisins and grapes away from your furry family members (no mince pies for them)! ✨

Stay safe this Holiday season! 🐾

Townline Care Fund in Action! 💙🐾

In September, little Tony experienced a serious fall that left him in urgent need of help. Thanks to the TVH Care Fund, he was able to receive life-saving surgery. After an amputation and lots of medical care, Tony has shown incredible strength and spirit — he’s truly a fighter!

You can help pets like Tony by donating to the TVH Care Fund today. ❤️

We’re also running our Nail Trim Fundraiser all December!
Book a nail trim anytime this month and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the TVH Care Fund, helping us support animals when they need it most.

Thank you for making a difference! 🐶✨

Here’s a quick heads-up on our holiday hours so you can plan your visits throughout the festive season! ❄️🎄

What is RHDV? Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus, RHDV is a highly contagious and unfortunately often deadly virus that affects only rabbits. 🐰

Mortality rates for this virus are 70-100% for rabbits who contract this disease and it can impact both outdoor and indoor bunnies. 🐇💔

Even if your rabbit never goes outside, RHDV can still find its way in through shoes, clothing, hay, fresh veggies, or even insects like flies and mosquitoes. 🦟👟

There are effective vaccines available today that can help protect your furry friends! Combined with good hygiene and biosecurity, vaccination is the best way to keep your rabbits safe. 💉

If you share your home with rabbits, talk to your vet about RHDV prevention and vaccination. 🩺 Prevention truly is the key.

⚠️ Common signs of RHDV include:
• Sudden death (often within 1–3 days of infection)
• Bleeding from the nose, mouth, or eyes
• Lethargy, weakness, and loss of appetite
• Fever or difficulty breathing
• Neurological issues (seizures, spasms, loss of coordination)
• Jaundice or bloating

🐰 Protect your rabbits: vaccinate, stay vigilant, and spread awareness. 💚

🌟 Happy Townline Tuesday! 🌟

This week we’re thrilled to officially introduce the newest member of our reception team, meet Tiffani! 🐾

Tiffani has been working in veterinary medicine for 9 years and still absolutely loves it. Ever since she was a child, her dream was to work in a vet clinic, and she hasn’t looked back since! 💕

When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys walking her dog, enjoying all kinds of delicious food (especially sushi 🍣), or tuning in to her favorite true crime podcasts 🔎🎧

We’re so excited to have Tiffani join the Townline family — her bubbly personality and love for animals make her the perfect addition to our team. Please join us in giving her a warm Townline Welcome! ❤️🐶🐱
