It is with regret that we announce the closure of Early Start Autism Therapy Ltd. effective September 30, 2020. We have been fortunate to have been a part of the autism community as Early Start since May 2015. We are thankful to the families who chose us to be a part of their journeys, to the amazing staff who have learned and grown with us along the way, and to the community professionals who have worked alongside us.

*Edited* Families of children 5 and under should refer to the Registered Autism Service Providers for RASP approved professional level services in the categories of Behaviour Consultant, Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physiotherapist. There is no RASP list for behaviour intervention services.

On March 15th Early Start Autism Therapy made the decision to shut down our company’s 1:1 autism intervention services leaving dozens of families without therapy services and many people without jobs. Many of our families missed three months of autism intervention services - time they can never get back.

If the global pandemic and health concerns and the deaths of our elderly and vulnerable aren’t enough, please think of the short and long term effects on children with autism and special needs and their families. Please reduce your contacts, wear masks, stay home 🙏🙏🙏

A glimpse into our tele-staff meeting last week as our staff prepared for a gradual and careful re-introduction of face to face therapy sessions. ESAT's amazing team of BI's is moving forward this month with 1:1 sessions for our families. We can't wait to see you all!!!

The Playbook is a guide written to activate the spirit of learning through play and games. Originating out of necessity during the 2020 COVID-19 global pandemic, we have expanded The Playbook to include over 20 games that parents can use to mold young learners through fun!

I was excited to present some data yesterday on outcomes from our recent Early Start Parenting and 1:1 Coaching Program which has now converted to 100% tele-health format. I shared this information as part of a Zoom and FB live webinar on tele-health yesterday. It has now been viewed over 2000x in the last 24 hours!!!
