If you’ve been carrying something heavy lately (I haven't met many who aren't), this is your gentle reminder:

Take a deep breath, if you can, right now.
Slowly, let it go.
Remember this:
You don’t have to be the strong one all the time.
You don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
You don’t have to pretend you’re fine.

Find a quiet moment (in your car, in the bathroom) and be exactly where your feet are - even the small moments added together count.
If you can, tell someone you trust how you are really feeling, or send it out into the universe. I have to believe there's always someone listening.
Believe, if even for a few moments, that lighter days are coming.

We were never meant to do any of this alone.

One of the most powerful practices? A deep breath. Two quick, deep inhales and a long exhale, if you want to get fancy. Sounds simple and it is.
