In a whirlwind of events over the past two days, I’ve accepted a teaching position at Trillium College! I’m really looking forward to stepping into this instructor role, sharing clinical experience with future massage therapists, and supporting students as they build confidence, critical thinking, and strong hands-on skills. Feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back to the profession that has given me so much 🙏🏻

Where it started ➡️ to how it’s going
I always knew when I opened my small practice at Cuma Fitness that one day I’d love to work with an amazing team. So when the opportunity to move into a bigger space arrived in December 2022, I took a leap and prayed I was making the right decision…and here we are, a growing team of passionate professionals with the same vision and goals to help our community, heal - mind body and spirit. Its been hard work and a lot of sacrifice but I’m grateful for everything and everyone that has either supported me, believed in this vision, the clients who have stayed with us through this journey and the team I call my work family 🙏🏻

Rainiel Lucero, is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy (RCCMT), he is also a Registered Practical Nurse and continues to work as a community nurse.

With his experience from RCCMT and nursing, he learned to work and care for a wide group of people, ranging from children to older adults with various health conditions. Furthermore, his experience in healthcare has broadened his perspective and approach to the care provided, taking into consideration the patient’s physical health, mental, and spiritual health.

Rain’s practice uses his thorough knowledge of clinical assessments and anatomy to incorporate targeted treatments, focusing on key areas and the root causes of each client’s complaints. He utilizes various massage techniques such as Swedish massage techniques, trigger point therapy, or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques along with remedial exercises to personalize each client’s care and treatment.

Rain has a compassionate heart and a strong desire to serve through healthcare. He is excited to provide care and help improve any client’s overall health and well-being.

Rain is accepting patients starting December 2nd!
