On Friday we hosted our Healthy Heart Healthy Lives event in honor of Heart ❤️ month. Thank you to our awesome seniors who came out despite the weather and our amazing speakers Lee Marrison and Karen Narraway who made this event a great success. It is with a heart of gratitude we say thank you to for the funding to provide these informative events to the community over the past year. The resounding positive feedback has been heard from the community who continue to request more of these events. From to , Lee Marrison and our seniors thank you for your support.

Lastnight, we gathered to celebrate the Christmas Season with a room filled with seniors from our communities, government representatives and dedicated volunteers. Thank you DCAG for partnering with The Lighthouse Retreat to put this successful event on. Thanks to DRABPE for the funding to support this event. It was evident how much the people in the room enjoyed the night. Wishing you and yours Merry Christmas and joyous New Year.

Thursday, I was received the Senior Support Award at the Ajax Community Award ceremony. What an honor. This is a Lighthouse team award for which I am grateful.
Thanks to the selection committee from the Town of Ajax who nominated and voted for me. I am happy to see others seeing the impact The Lighthouse Retreat is making in Ajax. I feel blessed.
