This almost made me give up on meditation…

I thought I was doing it wrong.
Like… why is my mind getting louder instead of calmer?

I couldn’t sit still.
I felt restless.
Honestly… a little frustrated.

And I almost quit.

But here’s what I didn’t know:

That part?
That’s normal.

It’s not you failing…
it’s you finally becoming aware.

Your body isn’t used to slowing down yet.
Your nervous system is just catching up.

So if it feels messy, distracting, or not “peaceful”…
you’re actually doing it right.

Stress and anxiety aren’t just in your mind.
They live in your body.

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to logic.
It responds to rhythm. 💁🏽‍♀️

That’s why simple breathwork can help calm your body and reduce stress.

Try this simple grounding practice:
5 things you notice
4 sensations in your body
3 sounds around you
2 slow breaths
1 moment to pause

This is how you gently shift out of stress mode.

You don’t need more time.
You just need a moment.

Hi 👋 I’m Anu. A meditation teacher, breathwork guide, and karma healing instructor.

But before any of those titles, I’m a mom, a woman who has gone through life’s ups and downs, and someone who deeply believes in the power of slowing down.

For a long time I believed being busy meant being productive.

🧘🏽‍♀️ But what I learned is that our bodies and minds need moments of stillness to truly heal.

💁🏽‍♀️ Meditation isn’t about escaping life.

It’s about learning how to sit with yourself, breathe, and return to a calmer place inside.
That’s why I created this space. 🤗

A space for women who feel overwhelmed, tired, or emotionally stretched to reconnect with themselves. 🫶🏽
