I’m proud to introduce Steel Sisterhood a
7-week Steel Mace Workshop led by the incredible Coach Saumea Saumea is a trailblazer and highly influential fitness expert in the GTA, known for her powerful yet approachable style of strength and conditioning. As a proud representative of Tamil women in fitness, she has built a reputation for making movement accessible and empowering for women from all physical and cultural backgrounds.

This workshop is about more than just a workout it’s about learning a new way to move, connect, and build strength together.

Steel mace training is a unique modality that helps improve upper-body mobility, shoulder stability, coordination, and range of motion, all while building real functional strength.

Not to worry if you’re completely new to mace training or simply curious to try something different, this beginner-friendly program will guide you every step of the way.

People criticize the way I teach Ladies Only Muay Thai.

But what they don’t understand is this…I’m bringing women into Muay Thai who may have never had the courage, opportunity, or space to try martial arts before. And that in itself is powerful.

These are real beginners. Women rebuilding strength, coordination, and confidence after years of being sedentary or disconnected from their bodies. Muay Thai is biomechanically challenging, and that’s why we slow it down, focus on technique, and build strong, balanced bodies in our Friday lunchtime Ladies Only class.

If anyone is gonna live on her terms, it’s definitely@shameen.dsouza. I am absolutely privileged to know this firecracker of a lady. She came into SHARIF FITNESS to spice up my life and give me some unconditional love. Love you, girl. I’m not supposed to let Coach Joel know, but this is Shameen’s first time dead lifting 95 pounds. She told me to keep her lifting skills hush-hush as she didn’t want her butt kicked even more in the lift classes with Coach Joel.

Sorry .dsouza but fame comes out of price. lol! Thank you, Charan for trusting me with your body. And thank you for being a bad ass rebel brown girl before they were a rebels in our community. “If I were you…”

People say that to me all the time.
Advice is easy when you are watching someone else’s life from the outside.

But the truth is this.

If you were me, you might have quit a long time ago.

You would have quit after the trauma.

You would have quit when the support never came.

You would have quit when the weight of expectations from family, culture, and patriarchy tried to silence your voice.

But I didn’t.

As a Muslim woman.

As a Pakistani woman.

As a Canadian woman.

As a mother.

As someone who had to heal quietly and rebuild herself without a safety net.

I chose movement.
I chose strength.

I chose discipline.

I chose to rebuild my body so I could rebuild my life.

Fitness did not just change my health.

It transformed my destiny.

And from that transformation came Sharif Fitness.

A place where women can walk in exactly as they are and begin again.

A place where women learn they do not have to live a life of regret, bitterness, or expectations that were never truly theirs.

It’s measured in the woman who walked into my gym insecure and now walks out owning every inch of her body. It’s measured in the single mom who thought she was “too old” or “too far gone” and now deadlifts more than she ever imagined. It’s measured in the quiet girl who found her voice between rounds on the pads.

I don’t need viral moments. I create real ones in MY GYM every single day.

At Sharif Fitness, we are not chasing aesthetics. We are building backbone. We are building women who take up space. Women who sweat loudly. Women who stop shrinking. Women who stop apologizing. Women who lift heavy, hit hard, and live unapologetically.
