Interesting!!!

Dealing with emotional baggage gets a 12 because it breaks the scale IMO. Chronic psychological stress keeps cortisol elevated, suppresses parasympathetic tone, and tanks HRV. You can ice bath every morning and sauna every night, but if your nervous system is stuck in sympathetic dominance from unresolved stress, none of the gadgets matter. Studies on perceived stress show it independently predicts inflammatory markers (IL-6, CRP) regardless of what else you’re doing.

Sleep consistency at 10, not just sleep duration. Irregular sleep timing disrupts circadian gene expression and blunts overnight growth hormone pulses even when total sleep is adequate.

Going to bed at the same time matters more than you might think.

Walking at 10 because it’s the most underrated recovery tool on the planet. Low-intensity movement clears lactate, increases lymphatic flow, and shifts you into parasympathetic without the cortisol bump that harder cardio brings. Zone 1 is where recovery happens.

Cold plunge at 6. Sorry. But unless you really enjoy it, the evidence is not super strong. Note - I do it still because I like it.

Acute post-workout cold exposure can blunt mTOR signaling and reduce hypertrophy adaptations for up to 48 hours. Great for between-session recovery and mental resilience. Bad timing if muscle growth is the goal.

IV drips at 3 because outside of clinical deficiency, you’re paying hundreds of dollars to p*e out expensive vitamins. Oral bioavailability of most nutrients is more than enough when the gut works.

Sauna at 8 for heat shock proteins, improved cardiovascular function, and the parasympathetic rebound after.

Sometimes, the most difficult thing to accept is that not everything in life is meant to be resolved, explained, or given a proper ending.

Some things arrive, change us, and leave, without closure, without clarity, without the answers we thought we deserved.

And as much as it lingers in the mind, as much as the heart tries to make sense of it, there are moments when the healthiest choice is to simply let it be.

Because not everything that feels unfinished is meant to be revisited. Some conversations are better left unsaid, some truths are better left undiscovered, and some people are better left exactly where they chose to stand.

It doesn’t mean it didn’t matter. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t real. It just means that forcing understanding out of something that was never whole to begin with can do more harm than good.

There is a quiet kind of strength in stepping back, in choosing not to chase answers that only bring more confusion, not to reopen doors that once caused you pain, not to disturb a silence that has slowly started to give you peace.

Healing doesn’t always come from knowing everything; sometimes it comes from accepting that you never will.

You may still wonder about the “why,” replay moments in your mind, or feel the pull to go back and try one more time.

That’s human. But growth is learning when to stop yourself, when to recognize that your peace is more important than your curiosity, that your healing is more valuable than temporary clarity.

Some things are just best left the way they are, not because you are weak, but because you are finally strong enough to choose yourself over what keeps hurting you.

And in that choice, even without answers, you begin to find something more important than closure… you find freedom.🦋
