The excitement keeps growing! We’re thrilled to share that AON, the umbrella organization of our retirement home, has matched our $2,000 donation for the Almonte Civitan Club project for accessible playground doubling our impact and bringing the total contribution to $4,000 for the accessible family playground project in Mississippi Mills.

This generous match reinforces our shared belief in building inclusive spaces where everyone can play, connect, and thrive. Together with AON, our residents, families, and community partners, we’re proud to support a project that will make a lasting difference for families close to home.

Today was a truly special day for our residents and community, as Almonte Civitan members shared their vision for an incredible accessible family playground that sparked excitement and possibility. With the next closest facility a 5-hour drive away, we recognized the potential for barrier-free family fun right here in Mississippi Mills. This inspired us to come together and contribute to making it a reality. We proudly presented a $2000 cheque, raised by our hardworking & generous residents and family members . This moment marked the beginning of a continued commitment to support projects that uplift our community, with our residents pledging to keep raising vital funds for initiatives that make a real difference.
