For the second year in a row, our sales associate Morgan will be hosting a bake sale to raise funds for Brain Tumour Awareness. Please feel free to pop into Vogue Optical (Amherst location only) tomorrow between 12-2 for a homemade sweet treat as well as a complimentary coffee or tea. Maybe you will even get the chance to take advantage of the last day of our 50% off frame sale while you're here!

BAKE SALE!!!
Our sales associate, Morgan, will be hosting a bake sale tomorrow (Wednesday June 7) in store. All proceeds will be going toward her Walk for Brain Tumour Awareness Fundraiser. All bake sale treats are being sold by donation. We will have complimentary tea and coffee for the morning as well, so come on in and enjoy a yummy treat and hot beverage in support of a good cause that is near and dear to our hearts.

Born and raised here in Amherst, our store manager, Emmitt, is a licensed optician as well as a contact lens fitter. Emmitt began working with Vogue when he was still a student optician back in 2018. When it came time for Charlie to pass along the reins of manager in spring of 2021, there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Emmitt was the perfect fit for the job. He took over the manager position with confidence and grace, and has since grown the store immensely. When Emmitt isn’t busy working, he enjoys being out on the golf course or spending quality time with his golden retriever, Stella. We hope that Emmitt will continue to be the face of our Amherst location for many years to come!🤓

Meet our staff!

Our youngest employee, Haley, is an optician and contact lens fitter who has already immensely developed her skills in her short time being licenced. She began working with us part-time as a student before graduating from Oulton College in June of 2021. From the time she first started with us she made it her personal mission to ensure the store is decorated accordingly for each holiday and special promotion. Haley loves any dog that comes into the store and is sure to give them a treat and lots of attention every time. She has a soft spot for the kids and goes above and beyond to make sure the little ones find a pair of glasses that make them feel comfortable and confident. You'll always find Haley with fashionable glasses on as she is one of those people who look good in almost any shaped frame (and can't stop herself from buying a new pair whenever she finds one she likes). Haley is clearly our fashion girl of the store and is very good at helping people find glasses that match not only their face shape, but their personality and style as well! Meet Our Staff!

Although he is near retirement, Charlie is still our most beloved staff member. While he has now switched to part-time as he finishes out his last year working with us, Charlie has been an integral part of our Amherst location for nearly 30 years as a licensed optician and has been with Vogue Optical even longer. Charlie has a special place in the hearts of patients and coworkers alike, and we have no idea what we would do without him and his expertise!
Come in and see Charlie on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You’ll be guaranteed to share a smile and maybe even hear him crack a joke or two. 🤓

Be sure to like our page as we will be posting the rest of our staff within the coming weeks, and we may just have a little surprise coming as well!
