The AMHERSTBURG HEALTH CARE CENTRE would like to share how we are conducting our operations during this important time and how we are playing our part in keeping our community and patients safe and healthy:
FAMILY PRACTICE - (Dr. Bernyk, Dr. Crane and Dr. Silvaggio) is Open for Regular and usual FULL-TIME hours (Monday-Saturday) including AFTER HOURS on Wednesday’s. We will be answering phones Monday-Friday from 8am-12:30pm & 1pm-4pm. If you have any questions please call 519 736 2131.
All patients will be screened via telephone and at the entrance of our facility.
Most of our physician encounters will be via telephone or video chat. If an in person encounter is required we will schedule an in-office appointment with enough time apart throughout the day that you will not have to wait outside or in your cars. If you have respiratory symptoms call 519 736 2131 for instructions.
Staff are equipped with PPE and our offices, common areas and exam rooms are carefully cleaned regularly as required throughout the day.
Those who need to be tested for COVID-19 will be directed to the assessment center at WRH Ouellette Campus (between the ER and the main entrance goyeau)
WALK-IN CLINIC - is still Open and accepting patients. Please call 519-736-2131 before you arrive and we will instruct you regarding your visit.
BLOOD LAB - will remain Open Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. Call 519-736-2131 to arrange a visit.
PHARMACY - is Open Regular hours Monday-Saturday via Drive-Thru for pick up and drop off. After you drop off we will text or call you when it’s ready for pick up. Call 519 736 2223 for any questions.
HOME HEALTH CARE - is Open regular hours Monday-Saturday. One person will be allowed in the store at a time. For questions call 519 736 0972.
