Hello everyone! It’s been a while 😅… I have some exciting news to share!

I will be relocating back to my hometown of Antigonish, NS and will be practicing at Root Cause Health & Wellness Clinic starting March 22nd!

I am overjoyed to be coming back home to the east coast, and thrilled to be able to offer holistic, preventative healthcare to the people of Antigonish 🫶

A prescription worth filling.
Backed by hundreds of studies over several decades, research suggests that connecting to nature is one of the best things you can do to improve your health.
90% of us say we're happier when we're outside and stress hormone levels drop significantly after just 15 minutes of sitting in a forest.
Increasing nature time reduces your risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Spending time in nature boosts memory, creativity and work satisfaction.
Spending time in the forest drops inflammation and stress in adults with COPD and reduces the risk of lung infections.
Nature therapy improves the psychological wellbeing of cancer patients and activates tumour-killing cells.
Seniors who live closer to walkable green spaces live longer.

In your initial appointment with me we have 75 minutes to discuss your health concerns. As a naturopathic doctor, I use a holistic approach that covers a complete health history and investigates each body system.

This time may include any pertinent physical exams to help me understand your health concerns better and get to the root of why certain symptoms are occurring.

It is always very helpful to bring any recent and relevant lab work with you to your first appointment. I may also recommend certain lab testing to get a better idea of why your concerns are occurring, or to get a better overall picture of your health that helps guide my treatment plans.

We also discuss your health goals and I may recommend interventions right away or may need to gather more information that will help me establish an individualized treatment plan that is suited for you!

Scheduling a follow-up visit is dependent on your health concerns and the interventions I suggest- each patient is unique! My goal is to provide you with a manageable treatment plan that is right for you!

I would be honoured to assist you on your health journey! My online booking is now open for January (link in bio) ☺️
