This story is meant to make you laugh. I for one still get a chuckle out of it. 🙂.

Hey Just want to tell you all a little story. One day last fall (8 years ago).

We were working at this house out past the hospital.

Anyhow we had been hired that day to do windows.

The house was very large and had a lot of windows.

I was outside and Charley was working inside where the home owner was also.

I was out back when all of I sudden I heard Charley Scream MARY so I went running out front and I said whats wrong??

“She says the fox took your rags”!

I said what do you mean?

Well what she meant was We have 2 bags one we use a black recycle bag and a green one. Clean and dirty rags.

Anyhow the black bag with the dirty rags is what it was taking off with as it stared back at me with this most evil smile you could ever imagine. Almost like it was laughing.

Well I said screw you and I followed it into the clear cut woods were.

I said you are not getting my window rags.

Anyhow the friggen thing end up dropping the bag.

At this time I had the elderly home owner behind me scared she was going to get eaten. All I am thinking is lady I may be younger but I have a lot more meat on my ass for that bastard to chew I think your safe lol. I told her to go to her house I would get the rags.

Didn't it drop the bag and start walking towards me. I thought here we go. I started walking backwards towards the house and in the mean time I forgot to tell you all that when I started walking towards the woods I hit record on my phone so everyone could see it.

Ok so the fox got scared when I started yelling at it to get going.

I proceeded to go and get the rags and as I did the the dam thing came over towards where I was heading and squatted over them and it pi**ed on my rags with this big ole evil smile.

Well let’s just say I had to throw them in the garbage.

So I get back to the house and I say to Charley and the lady did you see it all?

They both said yes. I said well look I recorded it.

I pull out the phone I look down getting ready to hit play I realize OMG I didn't hit record after all.

After dedicating 11 years to the university, I came to the realization that it was no longer the ideal fit for me. I was acutely aware of the reliance these students had on me, not merely for maintaining clean facilities, hallways, and waste management, but also as a confidant for their personal concerns. However, the most rewarding aspect was forming connections, sharing laughter, and providing a supportive ear during times of distress, such as homesickness. Upon departing, I embarked on an entrepreneurial venture. This new path has allowed me to encounter remarkable families and cultivate meaningful relationships that have contributed significantly to my personal growth. As I clean their homes, I am reminded that this profession is an integral part of who I am. I take pride in being not just a cleaner, but a resilient individual who has surpassed perceived limitations. Fifteen years later, my dedication remains unwavering, driven by the clients who make my work fulfilling.

Good evening, everyone. I would like to extend my gratitude to those who have supported me over the past 15 years since I established my business. At Antigonish Green Clean, I maintain confidentiality regarding my work locations as a matter of policy, ensuring fairness to my clients. From past experiences where sharing images of specific job sites led to dissatisfaction among property owners and contractors, I have adopted a practice of not taking pictures at work sites out of respect for all parties involved. However, if a client requests photographic evidence, I will take the pictures and delete them immediately after sharing them with the client, demonstrating my commitment to valuing their business and respecting their private space. I wanted to share this policy with you, especially considering recent concerns regarding a promotional contest last summer where I gave away 100 free cleaning hours to a family who permitted me to share the work conducted.

Dear valued clients, I wanted to take a moment to discuss some challenges I've been facing recently. When provided with a list of tasks and a specific timeframe, I've encountered situations where completing the tasks as expected hasn't been feasible. Although the owners are usually understanding and leave, I've often discovered additional tasks within the original scope of work, resulting in extra unpaid labor. I comprehend that budgets can be tight, but it's not fair to expect me to absorb the costs of extra time spent on tasks. For instance, if I'm tasked with cleaning a floor that's excessively dirty, I cannot simply leave it unfinished. To better manage my workload, I would appreciate it if you could prioritize your tasks from most important to least important. This would enable me to focus on the essential tasks and deliver the best possible results within the given timeframe. I understand that financial constraints can be a challenge, but I hope we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your understanding.

I am passionate about offering hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly cleaning services because I personally suffer from allergies and asthma. I know what a difference it can make not only coming home to a clean home, but one that is not filled with irritants and strong artificial scents!

I personally suffered working in crowded environments due to anxiety and other personal experiences, so starting a business was a great way to become independent and help others. Being self-employed has helped me excel as a cleaner because I get to work alone, but still offer valuable services. I sincerely enjoy knowing my customers are less stressed because they can tick cleaning off their to do list when I’m around!

Owning and operating a company has given me the opportunity to meet so many people from different walks of life.
