Our program horse QuatreBak never hit the available button, because he found the perfect new person in his foster mom, Steph.

Equipped with fancy dancing shoes to help his abscesses heal, fancy clothes that his big brother has too much belly for, and the adoration of his new mom, we think the gelding affectionately known as “Steph’s Pet horse” couldn’t have hit a bigger jackpot.

We hope he doesn’t get too comfortable in the role of Pet, because we look forward to seeing what they accomplish together when he steps into the role of Partner instead.

While we still haven’t formalized the adoption, it’s pretty well written in the stars.

This is our WHY, and people like Steph are why we get to do what we do for horses like her Pet.
