A big thank you to The Meadows Yarmouth for inviting our residents skating today! ⛸️
From the bus ride laughs, takeout lunch and rink, it was a day full of smiles, fresh air, and great company.

Outings like this mean so much — not just the activity, but the connection and community. Thank you to our Nakile Family - volunteers and staff for making this day happen.

We truly appreciate the warm welcome and kindness shown to our residents.

🦫❄️ Groundhog Day at Nakile ❄️🦞
Our residents and staff made their predictions over the last few days, and the results are in!

📊 Nakile’s Official Vote:
➡️ 60% predicted a longer winter
➡️ 40% predicted an early spring
Looks like winter still has a few fans around here!

🌨️ Shubenacadie Sam stayed snug in his burrow due to a Nor’easter — which means no shadow seen and an early spring prediction.

🦞 Lucy the Lobster (Barrington) braved the weather, made her appearance, and also did not see her shadow, predicting an early spring for Southwest Nova 🌷
