š£ DUPR Clinic Update + Whatās Next
After a lot of thoughtful discussion, weāve decided to pause the structured DUPR clinic for now and give players time to catch up recreationally, settle into their current level, and continue leveling up in a more organic way.
With that in mind, the DUPR clinic will be concluding, and Sundays will now shift to open play. As demand grows again, weāll absolutely revisit another clinic series in a few months.
š Important note:
If youād like to continue tracking DUPR, we encourage you to do so through self-arranged DUPR gamesāwith partners and matchups that feel appropriate, competitive, and fun. DUPR works best when players have autonomy and intention around who theyāre playing and why.
We ask that players who are running organized DUPR games continue to use Courts 5 & 6 on Sundays. Beyond that⦠letās exhale, reset, and get back to the joy of the game. Consider this a fresh breath of pickle-air š„šØ
Thank you to everyone who participated.
We also want to acknowledge that there has been some frustration at timesāwhich is completely understandable given the wide range of skill levels within a relatively small player pool. Balancing fairness, competitiveness, and enjoyment is not easy, and we truly appreciate everyoneās patience and willingness to engage.
Moving forward, we believe this mix of open recreational play + privately arranged DUPR games is the best fit for our community right now. It gives players flexibility, ownership, and the freedom to develop at their own pace.
A Gentle (But Real) Reminder About DUPR š
DUPR is a tool, not the holy grail of pickleball.
Itās a snapshot based on limited data, specific matchups, and imperfect circumstances. It does not capture your full skill set, your growth, or your competitive potential.
Improvement isnāt linearāand it doesnāt always show up immediately in a rating. Trying new shots, playing with different partners, moving up in competition, or working on weaknesses can temporarily affect numbers even while your game is getting better. Thatās not failureāthatās development.
What matters most is what youāre building:
⢠better decision-making
⢠stronger fundamentals
⢠confidence at the kitchen
⢠smarter shot selection
⢠problem-solving under pressure
Those are the things that win long-termāregardless of what a number says on any given day.
š Use DUPR as information, not identity.
Let it guide you⦠not define you.
Please share any feedback or suggestions. Your input matters and helps us shape what comes next.
And a huge thank you to Darren and Karen, who stepped up to lead this initiative. Running a DUPR clinic is no small task, and they did an amazing job navigating a very complex process.
Weāre incredibly grateful for this community and excited for whatās ahead š

P.S.
DUPR is a receipt, not a rƩsumƩ.
First to 11 wins the game⦠the long game wins the player.
And sometimes DUPR is just a bad selfie with poor lightingāinteresting, but not the whole story.
Keep hustling. Stay true. Your game is AWESOME. šŖš„
