For example, the ability to overcome hardships and appreciate what you already have instead of wishing you had more. Or the ridiculous things your dog and cats do, always living in the moment. Or even the way life’s traumas end up making the good times even sweeter. What other priceless things in your life are you sure not to take for granted?

Then, cultivate a good attitude by maintaining a daily list of things you appreciate, including uplifting quotes. Do this until it becomes second nature and you can cut right to the things you really want to say.
