Truth is, rest was needed yesterday. Not because I don’t want to lead rest was required to be able to show up and lead in the way., that is required of me lead in away. That is both strengthening, therapeutic and accommodating.

To show up in a way where you can listen to your body, but tap into the room around you. This next evolution of the studio is both therapeutic strengthening. It is about helping about people learning to engage their body. It’s about learning to walk around the class and help so that people acknowledge and understand what their body needs.

Today I got told by someone how accommodating my class was, this is where I knew the way the studio is going. Is the way that is needed.

The truth is is I’ve never wanted to be a popular person, nor have I ever wanted to teach the end thing. Teaching authentically has been the most important thing to me. Accommodating and having yoga become accessible and available to more people has been the other thing.

It’s about touching people in a way that they can feel through movement, through self study through movement. But also through the look at this, I finally touched my legs moment or while my back is not in pain. It’s about teaching in a way that the frenetic culture, of hustle. Takes a back burner for even a moment or so while we’re focussed on our mind body and soul.

Accessible affordable attainable, but kicking in the best way positive classes is what I aim to bring to both in person athabasca and Boyle studios but also live streamed so you can reach us from anywhere or any place.

Yoga is not only about poses… it’s about how we live. 🧘‍♀️
Discover the 5 Yamas of Yoga for a peaceful and balanced life.

The Yamas of Yoga are the first ethical guidelines of yoga. They teach us how to live with kindness, honesty, and self-control.
Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truthfulness), Asteya (non-stealing), Brahmacharya (self-control), and Aparigraha (non-possessiveness) help create harmony in our mind and daily life.
Practicing these principles on and off the mat brings true balance and inner peace. 💖🙏

Thank you. 🙏🏻❤️

Kleshas through movement

03/11/2026

In yoga, we are taught that, there are messages that our bodies give us to help us in our svadyaya or self study. These messengers come in the form of the kleshas. Kleshas much like the limbs of Yoga gift us an opportunity to look at ourselves deeper. The sequence is based off of kleshas each pose. Is correlated to the kleshas below.

This was my personal practice today to show how this can shift your day or mindset.
Avidya (Ignorance): Misconception of reality; forgetting our true nature.
Asmita (Egoism): Identifying too closely with the self, ego, or “I-am-ness”.
Raga (Attachment): Craving, desire, or clinging to pleasure.
Dvesha (Aversion): Repulsion, hatred, or avoidance of pain.
Abhinivesha (Fear of Death): The intense cling to life and fear of change.

Avidya / ignorance - baby cobra pose
Table top neutral pose
Child’s pose Asmita/ego
Neutral tabletop
Long butterfly pose- raga/ attatchment to perfection
Neutral table top
Wind release pose- dvesha aversion or avoidance
Abinivesha- fear/ anxiety

Yoga is so much more than poses can you agree?

This practice allowed me to look at me in alignment with what we have going on and needing to take a couple days this week. The messangers are whispers if we listen to them and allow the beauty of yoga to happen we then lessen some of our samaskras or brain fluctuations

We trust what we can’t see every time we open our phones, yet we doubt the very energy that keeps our hearts beating. 📶

Just because you can't touch a frequency doesn't mean you aren't tuned into it. Your "vibe" is your personal WiFi—it's how you connect with the universe. 🧘‍♂️☸️

You don't have to see it to feel it. 🌊 Everything in life is vibration. If you want to change your life, change your frequency.

Nikola Tesla once said: "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." 🕯️

Science is finally catching up to what the sages have known for thousands of years. We are not just physical bodies; we are energetic beings. Protect your energy as much as you protect your WiFi password!

Which one do you focus on most: your thoughts, your words, or your actions? Let’s discuss below!
