Kate has taken interest in pelvic health after taking courses through Pelvic Health Solutions and has become very passionate about treating this population. She continues to keep updated on the latest developments and treatment strategies in pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, prolapse as well as in the pregnancy and postpartum population.

Kate works as a teaching assistant for Pelvic Health Solutions and volunteers with Osteoporosis Canada.

Michelle Watkin offers Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Michelle has a background in fitness, kinesiology, and a passion for pregnancy and childbirth and was naturally drawn to pelvic health physiotherapy.

Michelle has a special interest in treating persistent pelvic pain, pregnancy and any issues regarding the pelvic floor.

Aurora Prime Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Centre is a well-established multidisciplinary clinic with an excellent reputation located in busy Aurora. Our clinic offers an outstanding positive environment and a team of highly qualified physiotherapists (FCAMPTS, therapists trained in dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic rehabilitation), RMT and Acupuncturist. We have full-time and part time administrative staff and a fully integrated booking/billing system and electronic patient charting.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do. They must be confident, collaborate with our clinical team/referring physicians and provide evidence-based treatment. Must be able to create positive and lasting relationships with their patients and understanding each patient's expectations must not only be met but exceeded. Patient care and satisfaction is our primary concern. Must be highly motivated, bring energy, empathy, and willingness to go the extra mile.
This position is available to start immediately. There will be no problem to build your schedule as we have a large client base. Schedule is negotiable
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose physical conditions and develop treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnoses
• Expertise with exercise prescription, education, and manual therapy
• Measure clients' progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly
• Collaboration with clinic team members and service providers

Qualifications:
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of orthopaedic physio experience
• Strong organizational, time-management and problem solving
