Sarah Cross graduated from the University of Toronto Physical Therapy program in 2000, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree in Psychology from Queen's University. Sarah has achieved advanced level post-graduate training in the Bobath Concept, focussing on the assessment and treatment of spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, and related neurological conditions. Sarah possesses a keen clinical interest in the areas of wheelchairs and seating, with a view of seating systems that are functional, dynamic, and geared towards facilitating stability, alignment, and postural control. Sarah is an Authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). Sarah is a certified clinician in assessment, treatment and prescription of the Bioness L300 Foot Drop System, and has completed the Level 1 Treatment Principles course of the American Hippotherapy Association, utilizing equine movement imparted to the client to engage the client’s sensory and movement systems.
