Why chiropractic?

Often I get asked why I became a chiropractor; today, I wanted to share that story

When I was 15, I would get low back pain - on and off- a few times a month; it stopped me from enjoying myself and made standing and walking difficult.

My mom went with me to the clinic and the young doctor, following the guidelines at the time, prescribed me (a 15 year old girl) with T3s to deal with the pain and told me it would go away.

This ‘wait and see’ method with no understanding of what was happening or why, wasn’t good enough for myself or my concerned parents.
