Another interesting training job.
Our Job: Train swing stage at Defasco Steel Hamilton, Ontario
Their Job:
Use a scaffold powered up a 170 ft. "skip" that is on approximately a 70° angle to replace the train rail for the iron ore cart. The cart travels up the skip and dumps in the smelter. The motors are at the top with two operators, and two operators below doing the replacement. There are two scaffold units working at the same time. (SEE PICTURES 1-5)
The rest of the pictures show the iron ore coming off the ship and being stock piled, as well as other cool pictures from the plant
