Grief doesn’t move in straight lines.
And it doesn’t live only in the mind.
It settles into the body.
The breath.
The nervous system.
Many of us learn how to cope with grief —
to keep going, stay busy, be strong, move on.
But grief that isn’t felt doesn’t disappear.
It waits.
When the Curtain Closes is a gentle, trauma-informed, full-day grief healing workshop for those who feel the weight of loss still living within them — even if life on the outside looks “okay.”
This space is for:
• those carrying grief from recent or long-ago loss
• people who are tired of being told to move on
• caregivers, helpers, professionals, and sensitive souls who hold a lot
• anyone craving a safe, embodied way to meet grief — without fixing or pressure
This day offers:
• trauma-informed somatic movement
• breathwork to soften and regulate the nervous system
• Yoga Nidra for deep rest and repair
• guided grief reflection and expressive grief work
• intentional ritual, pauses, and integration
• aftercare support and a grief recovery handbook
This work doesn’t rush healing.
It doesn’t demand closure.
It doesn’t ask you to be anywhere other than where you are.
It offers permission.
Presence.
Gentle integration.
