As the sun slowly returns,
so does our motivation and our purpose.
Let yourself celebrate by shaking off
the heaviness of winter and embrace the energizing and joyful season ahead....by committing to your practice with me!

Our next session will focus on finding balance…strength and ease, vitality and surrender.
Every breath we take together, we will build that radiant energy within, burning away any tiredness and open you up to feeling spacious, uplifted and revitalized.

The next session of classes is now open for registration. It's a 6 week session starting on Feb 23 and running until April 2.

These weekly classes run in Conestogo and in Ayr. Check out the website for the schedule. Or ask me any questions you may have!

Women’s circle is just around the corner
and this month we are cultivating Joy & Gratitude at the Yurt in Kitchener !

One of our regular attendees is going to lead us through a fun and creative project (zero talent required lol) to help us create reminders to see that self~care can be fun & easy! I will also be guiding us through some gentle movement and meditation (no experience needed here either!)

Sunday February 22 at 10am

Tea & treats are provided as well.
So come out and spend a couple of hours with a great group of women.

Welcome the gentle energy of early spring! It’s just around the corner, I promise! Spend some time with me cultivating a nourishing yoga practice designed to awaken your body, soften your breath, and refresh your spirit. Through mindful movement and restorative stillness, we’ll shake off winter’s heaviness and plant seeds of renewal for the season ahead.

A consistent yoga practice is a great place
to get still & get clear.

Not being able,

devalue your yoga practice.

Not being able (or choosing not to)
do certain postures
does not make you less worthy.

There is no wrong way to practice yoga.

There is no right way to practice yoga.

However you choose to practice
is entirely up to you.

Listen to your body.
What does it really need?

How do you WANT to feel?

The winter, lack of sunshine and cold temps create a deficit that is felt by many.

As much as you may not want to...
I encourage you to
Move your body!
See your friends!
Get fresh air!
Laugh and play!

And maybe even surrender to the darkness
a little bit and embrace the stillness within you.

Depression is very real
for many right now.

It affects the entire body...
digestion, hormones, breathing.

We may feel fatigued, lethargic,
lacking in desire or sense of pleasure.

We may also feel emptiness,
hopelessness, despair or shame.

Depression clouds your self-concept;
the stories you tell yourself, and you sometimes get stuck in a self destructive spiral.

Creating a daily ritual,
a few minutes of breathing,
meeting yourself where you are at,
sitting with all that is ~ no judgement, no fear.

Then…a walk in your neighbourhood,
reading sacred or inspirational messages,
or doing some form of selfless service can
begin to shift the energy.

A consistent yoga practice is one of the best ways I know to keep depression at bay.

The physical body engaging, muscles firing,
heat building, energy moving in the form of deliberate breath...
a wake up call to a body that has been lethargic
to the point of lifelessness in some cases.

Yoga poses increase blood circulation
to the brain and that enables the production
of the mood-elevating hormones,
literally flooding those limiting beliefs with a fresh perspective…with hope.

It’s adaptable to everyone.

I personally am well acquainted with both...

at the cosy Yurt in Kitchener.

We will begin with the intention of grounding into the coming year, allowing ourselves time to reconnect with what is true beneath the noise of daily life.

In addition to a cozy fire, warm tea and cacao, I will guide us through a meaningful Yoga Nidra experience to help calm and comfort you.
