We LOVE Halloween in Alderwood, our party, welcoming trick or treaters and having fun wearing costumes ( staff, residents and students😉).

Meet our new friend Karma 🐴❤️. We can’t thank our dedicated volunteer Jude and her helpers Michaela and Richard enough for convincing Karma to have a snack and entertain our residents in our courtyards and windows ❤️

Last week we enjoyed a visit from the Gaelic Choir for the church service ✝️ and Tracy Cavanaugh for our monthly birthday party 💃🎂
A big thank you to The Frozen Spoon for their generous Ice Cream donation that made our party extra special 🍦😋

🧡 Honoring Truth and Reconciliation 🧡
We were deeply moved and honored to welcome the Thunder Feather youth drumming group and Mike & Charlene Lafford to Alderwood for the 3rd year.
We see those young people grow, we listen, we learn. Their powerful songs, vibrant spirit, and cultural teachings resonated with all of us as we came together to reflect, remember, and stand in solidarity on this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today our residents had the joy of meeting a very special guest - Max the miniature horse 🐴🧲. Thanks to our Volunteer Jude for bringing so much happiness to Alderwood ❤️☀️ looking forward to seeing Max and his friends again 🥕🌼
