Due to the deteriorating weather the Baddeck Veterinary Clinic will be closing at 3:00pm today Friday December 5. The clinic will reopen tomorrow Saturday Decemeber 6 at 9:00am. If you are a client with the Baddeck Veterinary Clinic and your pet experiences an emergency during this closure please phone 902-295-3440.

Please be aware that we are presently experiencing a veterinarian shortage that will last through to Friday, December 12th.

For current, active clients of Strait Veterinary Hospital, we ask that you continue to call our Port Hawkesbury location to be triaged in the event your pet is experiencing an urgent care or emergency situation. If a treatment plan is initiated by our veterinarian, please be advised that travel to our Baddeck office will be required.

Equine services based out of our Baddeck office will also be limited during this time.
